Below is some important information for parents, please be sure to read in its entirety as there is A LOT of information. New this year is online registration AND online team gear ordering (see below).
DWC will continue with two wrestling levels – fundamental and competitive. All practices will be held in the high school wrestling room this year.
Competitive Session
Begins Tuesday, October 22nd
- Practices held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm – 7:45 pm.
- For grades K-8th.
- Cost is $100/session.
- Includes club tshirt and entry fee to Decorah Tournament
- USA Membership
- If participating in BOTH sessions, you will also receive entry into Luther Tournament and and one state tournament (USA or AAU).
Fundamental Session
- Begins Mid November - more details will be announced soon.
- Practices held Monday nights from 6:30-7:30 pm.
- For grades K-3rd only
- Cost is $45 for the season.
- Includes club tshirt and entry fee to Decorah Tournament
Scholarships are available as well as multi-child discounts - please contact Coach Freidhof for more information.
HOW TO REGISTER:

There will also be a form that the parent/guardian MUST SIGN the first night your child practices. Payment for first session is due the first night of practice, as well.
Below is information for next weeks schedule: (FUNDAMENTAL WRESTLERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND REGISTRATION TUESDAY OR THURSDAY SO THEY CAN PARTICIPATE IN SWAP MEET/TRY ON APPAREL/ETC. )
Tuesday
5:30-6:30 pm - Commons area/Decorah HIgh School - Permission slips can be signed by parents/guardians, payment due. Samples of team gear will be available for trying on.
6:30 - 7:45 pm - practice
Thursday
5:30-6:30 pm- Commons area/Decorah High School - Permission slips can be signed by parents/guardians, payment due. Samples of team gear available to try on and SWAP MEET. The SWAP meet is your chance to sell/buy gently used wrestling items. Items may include DWC singlets, practice singlets, shoes, headgear, etc. Please attach a notecard with your name and price on each item. If your item is sold, we will collect the money and card. At the end of the swap meet, you can collect your money or unsold gear. ***if you are selling your DWC singlet from last season, we are suggesting a sale price of $25***
6:30-7:45 pm - practice
TEAM GEAR
New this year - all apparel ordering will be done online - no forms will be distributed. Clothing samples will be available from 5:30-6:30 on 10/22 and 10/24 in the high school commons area to try on. Apparel order deadline is 10/31/13. To view/order apparel, go to http://www.
